VMware announced that it has completed the acquisition of B-hive Networks. B-hive is privately-held performance application management Software Company. Its headquarters in San Mateo, California, and principal R&D facilities located at Herzliya, Israel. VMware claims that it had announced a definitive agreement to acquire B-hive on 28-05-2008.

VMware also says that with this acquisition, it will leverage the B-hive technology and team to improve its portfolio of infrastructure management and application products by offering proactive performance management and service level reporting for applications running within the virtual machines.
