It was also informed in the statement regarding its future plans that, CenturyLink is aggressively working toward the expansion of data centers across the USA and other prospective regions of the world. The company also affirmed that as many as six data centers would be installed with the advanced cloud node capabilities by the end of this year.

Juniper Networks and Nike Join Hands to Establish a Private Cloud Computing Network for Retailer Giant

Juniper Networks would help Nike to integrate their data centers across the globe with the help of cloud computing based virtualized infrastructure.

This announcement was made public on Sunday, August 17, 2014 through a joint statement. The partnership would work out an integrated and comprehensive solution for the giant retailer to integrate the on-premises resources into a private cloud computing based network.

It was further informed through the official joint statement of the companies that targeted cloud computing network as the result of this partnership would be a new cloud of the data centers and retail network infrastructure to offer the benefits of the cloud to Nike.

The chief executive officer of Juniper Networks, Mr. Shaygan Kheradpir, in his official statement said, “The aim of the partnership is to create secure network architecture that is also “ultra-scalable”. Enterprises are re-engineering their business models in light of changing customer behavior and emerging technologies.” He further added that, “It also requires building private clouds that deliver applications with high performance and agility.”
