Microsoft Invests $3 Billion to Improve Customer Trust in Cloud

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has said, Microsoft has invested $3 billion on cloud computing in Europe and also said, the company will offer various cloud services from data centers in France by twenty seventeen. Tech giant Microsoft invested around $3 billion, to provide the cloud services in Europe, from the various data centers located in France. The company’s announcement was taken place in the Tech Gathering at Dublin City University in Ireland. Microsoft chief executive officer Satya Nadella led to the stage to deliver the news.

Satya Said, “Cloud computing is not just a single destination,” to lead and delineate the company’s plans to hyper-scale cloud globally.  Satya further said, “We now have over 30 regions across all parts of the globe, making sure there is access to the cloud.”

It has been one of a key strategy of Mr. Satya Nadella to transform the Microsoft into mobile-first and cloud-first entity for the forty-one years tech firm. Microsoft has seemed to deliver the cloud services, with the two times of the computing capacity in Europe.

He said, the investments have considered for growth in the data centers operating in this region including Ireland and Britian. Satya Nadella clearly said, the company did not see any impact from UK’s decision to leave the European Union and he also said the company would not change his decision to region.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has decided to make the cloud more robust,  inclusive, responsible and trusted, published a book that has around seventy-eight recommendation for public policy for getting this end.

Mr. Satya Nadella said, “With any new technology like the cloud, one of the profound things that happens is change, rapid change and disruptive change”

“It is incumbent on companies like Microsoft and broader tech community and governments to have the broader dialogue where we look at technology and ask the question: is this technology going to benefit everyone on the planet? Will this tech help solve some of the pressing issues?”

The book was really a concrete step for the company to suggest a set of ideals and policy considerations, that will help you for a spacious discussion. The book would come up with ways that surely can help with disruptive technologies for global growth in a way that is sure to be trusted, responsible,  and inclusive.

Microsoft president Brad Smith said, “Cloud computing has the potential to solve some of our world’s most challenging issues, but, as with all technological advancements, it raises important questions for society”, “We must work together to build a cloud for global good.”

Smith further said, The policies that will set to be for the next two years, that would surely define how the people will experience the cloud in next twenty-years.

Microsoft Joins Hands with Workday for Cloud Expedition

Microsoft and Workday jointly work on cloud computing to integrate the MS office 365 in the Workday’s cloud based human resource and finance software. Microsoft Corporation and WorkDay have announced their partnership for the cloud computing services to expedite the cloud adoption. The announcement was made jointly by both of the companies on September 28, 2016.

With this partnership between Microsoft and Workday companies would enhance the cloud expedition in the business operation of both companies. Through this partnership, Microsoft will help WorkDay to make the cloud platform more reliable, and user friendly for the clients. It will also help to improve and enhance the WorkDay’s cloud system. The Workday provides numerous powerful enterprise cloud based applications, which offer comprehensive solutions pertaining to human resource management and finance management software platform.

It was further informed in the official statement of the company that this newly established partnership with Microsoft aims to integrate the Microsoft Office 365 suite with Workday’s cloud based human resource and finance software.

It is very important to note that a few hours before this partnership, Microsoft has also established a very strong partnership with Adobe Corporation. These consistent moves from Microsoft are being viewed as an aggressive cloud policy that the Microsoft is eying on.

With the integration of Microsoft Office 365 with the Workday’s cloud based human resource and finance software, any company can add their new employees to its team using only Workday’s HR software, automatic employee accounts and worksheet very smoothly and seamlessly. All the updates will perform according to the previous formula identified for the official process. All data updated in the WorkDay platform would automatically be updated on the Microsoft Office 365.

While talking about this partnership, the CEO of Microsoft Corporation, Mr. Satya Nadella, in his official statement said, “The impact of this work goes even further, to infuse more intelligence into customers’ organizations. Many experts in the industry believe that Microsoft Azure is working aggressively on its cloud platform to provide a fierce competition to its big competitor like Amazon, Google, and others.

Microsoft Partners with Adobe for Cloud Collaboration

A major milestone for Microsoft Azure platform to have Adobe as a cloud partner in the cut-throat competitive marketplace. A big news surfaced at the start of this week that created a heavy stir in the cloud computing marketplace. This news was the announcement made by Microsoft Corporation that it has partnered with the Adobe Corporation to use its MS Azure cloud platform for its numerous solutions in the cloud.

This announcement was made to inform that the Adobe will use the Azure platform as the preferred cloud computing platform for its three major cloud computing based services. These three major services of the Adobe Corporation include Document Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Creative Cloud.

It was further informed in the official statement that Adobe will also benefit from the Cortana Intelligence Service offered by the Microsoft’s artificial intelligence program. The company will also use the SQL servers of Microsoft Corporation.

It is very important to note that this news may not augur well for the Amazon Web Services AWS because Adobe is associated with the AWS for its many cloud based services.

While talking about the customer demands and their solutions in the marketplace, the CEO of Adobe Corporation, Mr. Shantanu Narayen, in his official statement said, “Customers today expect a well-designed, personalized and consistent experience every time they engage with a brand. Adobe and Microsoft will bring together the cloud horsepower and end-to-end capabilities and brands need to design and deliver great digital experiences.”

The CEO of Adobe has already hinted at that the company was going to establish partnership with Microsoft Corporation later on. He then said, “We have completely reformed how in the cloud we can reimagine the creative process as well as documents.”

The CEO of Microsoft Corporation, Mr. Satya Nadella, while talking about the importance of this deal, in his official statement said, “It is a massive milestone to have partnership with Adobe Corporation for cloud services.”

It was further informed in the official statement that Microsoft Corporation will also use Adobe’s flagship marketing platform as the preferred platform marketing for Dynamic Enterprise 365. And also, both of the companies will integrate the features and capabilities of their cloud services to provide a better environment for the customers using the services of these companies.
