IBM to Launch Blockchain Cloud Capabilities in LinuxOne Server

Super secure business to business blockchain cloud capabilities would enable the businesses to test privacy, performance and interoperability in a secure environment.

IBM LinuxOne  It was announced by the IBM Corporation that its LinuxOne Servers would be capable of implementing the blockchain technology to achieve high security, robustness and reliability of the operations in a secure environment. The capability is being launched in beta version for review and customer feedback, but it will be commercially launched very soon.

With this launch of latest technology, the customers would be able to check the performance, interoperability and privacy of the database in a highly secure and independent environment. It is very important to note that the blockchain projects are based on a highly secure, reliable, robust and encrypted database infrastructure, which is created based on the distributed database system. The entire database consists of many independent and isolated data structures that build up the database in robust and reliable design.

The  IBM Fellow for the Enterprise Solutions, Donna Dillenberger, in the statement said, “Blockchain will change the way we transfer high value goods, digital assets and financial instruments. To accelerate blockchain adoption, clients must trust the infrastructure and the system that blockchain is running on. With IBM Blockchain, we are expanding access to the emerging technology — not only by making it easy to get up and running on the IBM Cloud, but also by using the most secure infrastructure.”

It was further elaborated that the current launch of the capabilities is in Beta version. The full version of the cloud computing block chain capabilities would be launched very shortly. With the official launch, the customers who use the blockchain projects for highly mission critical procedures and tasks would be able to run their projects in highly secure, encrypted, robust and reliable environment.

It is very important to note that this capability is being introduced in the LinuxOne Server of IBM. This service is designed for highly secure and mission critical projects for those companies that undergo high security and classified projects in the domain of governments and security agencies.

While talking about the latest capabilities of IBM servers, the CEO of EverLedger, a reputed client of IBM, said in his official statement, “When you are in the business of provenance, secured records, access and transparency are everything. There is no compromise when it comes to security and one cannot underestimate the expertise required to enable this. Having the opportunity to build, test, scale and refine Everledger on IBM Blockchain, underpinned by a security-rich infrastructure, is a game changer.”
