It was further told in the statement that the strongest point of Savvis cloud services is its Symphony data bases, which provide the customers great flexibility and freedom to choose from the most exciting and effective databases of the globe like Oracle and SQL servers. Customers can choose any suitable database form these two popular database software in the industry of information technology. This move came after about one month time of launching of Frankfurt data center by this cloud hosting company. Cloud hosting Savvis is expanding its operational footprints across the globe very aggressively. Provisioning of Symphony cloud database is one of the steps towards international expansion of the cloud services of Savvis hosting.

It was further informed that the customers have options to choose the suitable hardware for their services for; they can choose either Oracle Enterprise 11G RAC or MS SQL Server 2008 R. It was also maintained that these symphony database services would be provided from Borough UK data center to their customers in European area.
