Cloud Hosting Fibertown Starts Data Center in Houston on Oct 11, 2012Cloud hosting infrastructure provider company Fibertown has announced on Wednesday October 10, 2012 that it has added a new data center pod at Houston data center in Houston, Texas. This new data center pod has been added with its existing 2600 square feet data center already working in the area.

This is important to note that this gigantic data center already houses many carriers and telecom operators from across the country. Among such big operators, Sprint, Verizon, TW telecom and many others are main operators to name. With this addition of data center POD, the capacity of Fibertown space would be available to house more cloud hosting operators and telecom providers in this data centers.

It was further told in the statement that Fibertown data center in Houston would be able to provide the required space to the companies operating in mission critical data warehousing and other businesses; earlier than this expansion, there was no additional availability of sufficient space for scaling up the demands. These data centers are highly secure and can withstand any disastrous situations like Hurricane and tornadoes etc.

It was further informed in the statement that this expansion was completed by the help of DSA Encore, which is a data center solution provider company. In his statement, the managing director and chief executive officer of DSA Encore Company said, “Critical business operations rely on Fibertown; we’re delighted that our completed expansion of this facility enables even more businesses in this important commercial and industrial area to benefit from the business continuity and disaster recovery services that FIBERTOWN offers.”

Fibertown data centers located in North Houston and Bryan Tier IV data centers offer optimized efficiency and performance due to their modular designs and redundant power and cooling systems. The connectivity is also redundant from different carriers of the country.
