Greatresponder.com on Sep. 18 2012 : Web hosting Provider Peak 10 has announced on Monday September 17, 2012 that they have implemented ‘Recovery Cloud Services’ into their cloud hosting services to improve the reliability, performance and efficiency of the customer services. This new service would enhance technology, processes, and scope to help customer restore their services very quickly even in case of complete website failure.
It was further explained in the company statement that this newly implemented technological service would provide the customers an opportunity to be able to securely replicate the production systems; this would increase the cost efficiency to transfer and save it on multi-tenant environment without carrying out any change in existing environments and platforms.
In his statement Mr. Monty Blight, the vice president of product management at Peak 10 web hosting provider said, “Unlike many disaster recovery services that schedule data replication a few times a day, the Peak 10 Recovery Cloud makes use of continuous data protection, which allows for near real-time data replication. Customers can select the point in time to test or restore before a site failure occurred and the length of the history for data restoration, ranging from hours to days, can also be specified by the customer.”
It was further informed in the statement that the customers using this newly integrated service of recovery cloud would allow them to get benefit from a wide range of services of the company to make their services more reliable and secure. Among such services and features that these customers would get are enterprise-class facilities, disaster recovery expertise of Peak 10, latest cloud infrastructure, and managed services of the company. Thus, the customers would be able to save a huge amount of cost on their cloud hosting services.
