This news was surfaced by ViaWest web hosting through a press release statement. The financial terms and conditions of this acquisition were not made public in the press release. This is less than one week’s time since company announced the sponsorship of USA Pro Challenger cycling tournament about one week back.
In press statement Mr. Roy Dimoff, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ViaWest web hosting said, “CoreLink’s commitment to customer support and providing customized IT infrastructure solutions aligns closely with the ViaWest mission. The addition of these assets expands our presence in the Las Vegas market and enhances our base of established customers. Simply, this investment supports our objective of being a premier”.
This acquisition was materialized by ViaWest web hosting company in the pursuit of expanding its presence and business penetration in Nevada State and especially in Las Vegas city area. With this acquisition of Las Vegas data center from CoreLink web host, the capacity of ViaWest would double in the city. This will help getting more business penetration in the area.

It was announced in May this year that company is going to build a latest and state of the art data center with an area of about 110,000 square feet in North Las Vegas. As per company press release, that says, “The North Las Vegas data center will be one of the greenest data centers in the United States, incorporating the latest in ViaWest’s cooling technology, custom designed for the Las Vegas climate”.
