The company announced that it has now an upgraded version of its web-based client portal. This web-based client portal, OTPortal, was upgraded in order to provide a “single pane of glass” to customers of its colocation, managed hosting and cloud services.
The new upgrade of the web-based client portal,OTPortal, will provides clients with an update to user experience, and access to new features, including the ability to view network configuration on a single screen, and make changes to firewall rules and IP addresses for individual devices, sys the web hosting provider.
The new upgrade also provides functions for upgrading server capacity, and managing services such as offsite backup.
“We developed our client portal to provide our clients an easy, convenient tool to remotely manage their servers,” says Mike Klein, president of Online Tech, quoted in the press release. “While our support staff is always available 24×7, our next generation portal provides our clients a hassle-free way to self-manage their servers when they prefer to do so.”
IThe web-based client portal, OTPortal, was designed to simplify remote server management, based on the years of server management experience at the company, says the company. The portal is offered to every colocation, managed server and cloud client as a free part of his or her service.
The web hosting provider says that this update is the third major one they have made this year. The company plans the updates to roll out seamlessly and actively seeks feedback on the new technology from customers.
The web hosting provider was offering in July a series of webinars covering the subject of cloud security.
