VMware, Inc. (Public, NYSE:VMW), Completes Acquisition of B-hive Networks

VMware Inc, a provider of virtualization solutions Leverages the B-hive technology and team to enhance its portfolio of infrastructure management and application products.

VMware announced that it has completed the acquisition of B-hive Networks. B-hive is privately-held performance application management Software Company. Its headquarters in San Mateo, California, and principal R&D facilities located at Herzliya, Israel. VMware claims that it had announced a definitive agreement to acquire B-hive on 28-05-2008.

The Planet “dedicated hosting company “are expanding its Dallas Data Center

A privately held dedicated hosting company, The Planet, today announced the expansion of the Dallas D6 data center. They states that this addition will add about 12,000 square feet to the company’s existing data center, bringing its total footprint to 167,000 square feet. The new data center is expected to be open in November 2008. The expanded data center will be able to accommodate up to 10,000 servers.

BlueHost Web Hosting Announced the Million Domains Hosted.

BlueHost Inc., a shared web hosting provider, announced that its combined hosting platforms of BlueHost and HostMonster have reached 1,000,000 domains.

BlueHost.com and HostMonster.com with their headquartered in Orem, Utah, announced they have reached a milestone in growth with over one million domains hosted by the two companies. They have seen a massive amount of growth in the last year by hosting about 425,000 domains in June of 2007 to over 1,000,000 in June of 2008. “When we first started BlueHost, we were really excited to have 50 new customers in our first month. By the end of the first year we had reached 5,000 customers,” said Matt Heaton CEO and Founder of BlueHost and HostMonster. “During the past year our growth has exploded due to providing superior performance, unmatched customer service, and the best hosting plan in the industry.”
