B-hive Networks, Inc. is a private application performance management software company, its headquarters in San Mateo, California with its main R&D facilities in Herzliya, Israel. VMware states that by this acquisition, they will leverage the B-hive technology and staff to offer new technology for applications running in the virtual machines the new service will be a service level reporting and proactive performance management – this will apply on both servers and desktops platforms. Also they added that B-hive’s R&D staff and facility will be the core of their newly development center in Israel.
“With this acquisition, VMware gains a unique solution that solves real-world problems, and adds a highly talented engineering team who shares our passion for innovation,” said Stephen Herrod, Ph.D., chief technology officer, VMware. “We expect the B-hive R&D team to be an integral part of our new development center in Israel.”
