June 28, 2007 – Web hosting provider and Domain registrar Go Daddy announced on Wednesday that an enormous growth in its Web hosting services has recently been experienced.

“This month’s data yields some of the strongest evidence yet of the power shift in Web hosting,” says Rich Miller of Netcraft. “Go Daddy continues to amass huge numbers of users on its hosting platforms. This trend, along with the growth of social networks and image and video hosting services, is prompting deals in the hosting industry, as providers seek the scale and breadth of services to compete.”

Also last week, Go Daddy add a mobile device-enabled sharing in its domain name aftermarket service, The Domain Name Aftermarket, this enable users to bid on and buy on domain names throughout cell phone and other mobile devices.
